You will have the chance to work on the grand challenges of machine learning and deep learning. You will be involved in determining the important and interesting questions, creating and improving existing ML models, and making discoveries.

• Neural architectures for graphs
• Explainable AI for various deep learning models
• Copyright protection for LLMs
• Knowledge-grounded natural language processing with large language models (LLMs)
• Multi-modal learning for image and video
• Sensor-based AI (e.g., EMG, EEG, …)
• NLP and sensor-based AI for mental illness
• (You can also suggest any new topic!)
